Rescue/Open the bedroom window and look around

I walk to the window, and open it. I stick my head out of the window. My hair being blown aside by the breeze makes it difficult to see, but I can make out a small scrap of paper stuck on a branch, and I reach out to pull it off. It reads "Look in the birds nest above this branch. The clue will appear once you have gotten a grip."
Confused, I look up. The nest is much higher than I expected, and I will actually have to climb out into the tree to get it. I do it for Alex, and climb out onto my windowsill. It's a barely existent thing, and I have to hurry, or I'll lose my balance. I can get onto a shorter, weaker looking branch, or a longer, more sturdy looking one.
