There's no hesitation; sitting idle in a laser barrage is suicide. You punch the button for the boosters, and a sudden jolt throws you back into your seat. Laser fire rakes one of your wings, and your ship shudders with the impact, but you surge clear of the blaster fire. There's a scream of engines behind you as the pirate ship dives past, banking to come around for a pass from below.

A quick glance at your console shows you've taken superficial damage; nothing that a new coat of paint won't fix. You begin to bank, checking your scope; the only hostile nearby is the pirate who tried to jump you. Time to return the favor.

Your comm crackles to life as you begin to come around. "This is Hunter Three," Flak cries. "I've got two on my tail, I can't shake em!"

"This is Two, I'm tangled up with this gunship," Slice says. "You'll have to hold on a sec."

What do you do?
