Ask Novak to meet you after school

You summon your courage. "Would you like to meet me after school?" you manage to squeak.

"I would like that a lot," Novak says with a big smile. "Meet me outside the front gate at 3:30."

You float through the rest of the school day, amazed that you are actually meeting a boy for a real date! You never thought it would happen.

At 3:30, Novak appears at your elbow. "So, where shall we go?" he asks.

Uh-oh. You hadn't thought about that.
