You row until you can see the name of the black ship: Drakenhof. You know that name as the name of the ancestral castle of the Von Carsteins, a powerful vampire family from the Empire. You may be dealing with something much more dangerous than you first thought.
This is confirmed when you hear a gunshot coming from the ship ahead. Mere seconds later you are floating in the ocean, a bullet between the eyes.
