You pull out your book from your polka-dotted briefcase. You follow the instructions and end up with a decent looking lobster balloon. The youngest, however, asks you why you need a book and the parent who pays you overhears. After a stern lecture of ruining the magic she docks you of half your pay and sends you on your way.
You eventually retire from being a clown and never make that mistake again.
