Showing up late to class again would make you look like you're slow on your board, and helping her definitely doesn't help you. You push harder to beat a crossing light and make it in time to grab Hamlet from your locker. You've read the play already, so even if you didn't do the reading assigned last night, you're still caught up with the class.

Of course, since Hamlet is a play meant to be watched and not read, you get to doodle in your notebook with a VHS of a live performance playing in the background. It's no Hollywood, but the performance was done by a local troupe and it's fun listening to young actors try and remember when to use "thy" and "you."

You make it just before bell rings and take a seat beside your best friend Vivia and behind your study-friend Rolin. Both of them are watching the play as if the next essay would save their grade. Actually, you remember, in Rolin's case that was completely true. So, you sketch quietly to yourself, pretending to take notes. You draw something:
