Duck below the hammer

You duck below the deadly object, mostly missing it. It hurts a little. You stab the monster in it's chest. As it dies, another creature, holding an axe, spots you and yells a quick, deafening boom. Then it and 2 others holding axes run towards you, and the rest, holding torches, must walk to avoid letting their flame burn out. Do you:
