You lunge furiously at the soldier, grabbing his helmet and slamming your knee full force into the face mask. The soldier appears momentarily disoriented. You grab his shoulders and spin him around, wrapping your legs around his from behind to restrain him as you both fall toward the floor, grabbing his handgun out of his holster on the way down. Time seems to slow down around you as adrenaline fills your veins, and it seems to take seconds for the ground to reach your back, knocking the air out of you as the soldier falls backwards on top of you, his ceramic-like breastplate cold against your hardening nipples. You raise the handgun against the soldier's head and pull the trigger.

The trigger refuses to fully depress. You pull it again. Same response. You look wide-eyed at the gun, opening your hand to observe the handle, and notice to your horror what appears to be some kind of biometric sensor on the gun itself.
"You bitch!" the soldier yells, gaining his composure as he twists sideways and swings his ceramic elbow guard against your temple. The sharp impact blurs your vision and you feel disoriented; before you know it, the solder has you pinned and more seem to be flooding into the room and pinning you down. One seems places something pronged and metallic against your neck, and a sharp jolt of electricity fills your body. You lose consciousness.
