You open fire on the demon. The bullets strike it repeatedly in the face and chest. The monster simply keeps advancing, the bullets having no effect on it at all.

The gun clicks empty as the demon reaches you. Screaming like a banshee, you try to hit the creature in the face with the pistol. He knocks the weapon away easily and stands over you. You can feel his hellish aura already burning your skin.

"You are quite courageous," he says. "Beyond foolish, of course, but courageous none the less. Most people would have either run away, in which case I would have caught and killed them easily, or offered to be my new servant, which, assuming they actually succeeded, would have resulted in their eventual death once their usefulness was over. But you fought like an warrior. So I will make you an offer. I can turn you into a demoness. Together, we can conquer the world. Or, if you refuse, I can simply kill you and steal your soul."
