You refuse to take that as her final answer and look at her seriously. Pushing your hurt feelings aside, you look at her right in the eyes. "I refuse to believe that Jessica. We've were friends in grade school and ever since high school you've acted weird. Why?" you finish, unable to hide the hurt in your eyes.

You see guilt flash in her eyes and before she can say anything, the bus has arrived at the school. You stand up and turn around to get off the bus. As you are about to leave, you hear Jessica calling out your name.
