It's about noon right now, and the rain still hasn't stopped. Well, at least, I don't think it has. I've been asleep for the last ten hours. I'm actually pretty surprised, though, that the rain hasn't let up.
I watched the news a little while ago, and they're still talking about the high schoolers who went on their field trip yesterday. Turns out the cave underwent a pretty serious cave-in. They don't know how far in the collapse went, but they found the bus severed in two by a huge pile of rocks. Nobody was in the half they could pull out, but nobody really knows it that's good or bad just yet. The local construction crews are supposed to come up later and see if they can move the rocks aside and re-open the cave, though. I certainly hope they manage to get everyone out and home safely.
As far as dreams go, I had another dreamless night. If I did dream, I don't remember it. I wish I could use one of those dream-dictionary sites and find what some of the stuff in my dreams means, but none of them seem to have anything about giant mosquito-mouthed man creatures, dying in a pyramid, or being outside with a group, slightly armed, in a severe thunderstorm. Oh well.
Update on the caves. They could get some of the smaller rocks out of the way, but it looks like the big rocks, the ones that are actually blocking the entrance, are all too heavy to be moved with what the city has on hand. The mayor worked with the construction crews to locate and request bigger machinery, but it could take a few days to even get here. Until then, we're all keeping our fingers crossed.
Last update before I go to bed. The rain hasn't stopped. It's been going all day. The streets are getting dangerously close to flooding, too, and the rain just seems to pick up the longer it goes on.
