"Damn!" you say to Jason as you step into the lobby. "I forgot to grab cash. Come on, let's go back up and get it." He looks at you like you just said the dumbest thing in the world. "I'm not going all the way back upstairs, I'll just wait down here." he replies. You agree that it is fairly pointless for him to come all the way back upstairs for nothing, so you turn around and step back onto the elevator on your own.
You push the button for the fourteenth floor and watch as the doors close in front of you. The ride up seems to take forever. As the elevator continues to your floor, you lean back against the wall and close your eyes. The elevator slows to a stop, and the doors slide open. Before the doors can fully open, you're already stepping through. As you step out you hear a lot of noise coming from your neighbor's apartment.
You take a few steps down the hallway towards your door, then a man wearing a white t-shirt comes running out of your neighbor's apartment. His shirt is stained with blood around the neck and left shoulder area. His blue jeans are dirtied around the knees and torn down the left leg. His face is bloody, a large cut starts just below his left eye and ends at his jaw line. His cold dark eyes lock onto you as he breaks into a full sprint. He is closely followed by two other men.
You run back to the elevator, but the doors have shut. You frantically push the call button as the distance between the three men and you becomes smaller. You continue pressing the button repeatedly. Overwhelmed with fear, your body begins to tremble. Finally the doors open up for you and you run inside, immediately pressing the button to close the doors.
Unfortunately, they were able to catch up before the doors could close. The man in the white t-shirt runs into the elevator and grabs your head with both hands. He lifts you off of the floor and slams you into the wall. He throws you to the ground and kicks you in the face. He grabs you by the hair and pulls you to your feet. With his hand still gripping your hair, you feel your cheek-bone crack as he smashes your face into the button panel.
As you slide to the floor of the elevator, the other two men join in on the assault. Your head bounces off the elevator walls as you are repeatedly kicked in the face. One of the attackers picks you up from the corner, and throws your nearly lifeless body to back out into the hallway. Now all three men surround you and are stomping on your body. It feels like fifteen minutes has gone by as you're endlessly kicked and stomped.
The elevator dings, pulling the attention away from you as the door opens. You look towards the elevator and see Jason with his back turned to the door as the three men start heading in his direction. "JASON!" you scream out to him, but its no use. He has his headphones on, so he can't hear anything around him. You helplessly watch as the three men savagely attack him. It isn't very long before his body lay lifeless on the elevator floor.
You start to cry as the three men slowly walk back to you. The man in the white shirt grabs your ankle and drags your body into your neighbor's apartment. Within minutes, the three men have beaten you to death.
