Wdyw/Rugby
From Create Your Own Story
You suggest a Rugby game. You can't think of any that have been done before and it would be risky, but it could work. American audiences love football and sports games, so why not introduce them to a popular game from other parts of the world? The group likes your idea and reasoning and decides to start working on it. The development takes a long time since nobody really knows to much about rugby, but after many dedicated months it is finally ready. The game gets released and the group is on the edge of their seats waiting for the reviews and sales to roll in. Several days pass and the verdict is in. The game is a failure. Americans just aren't ready to accept a foreign game and the game itself just isn't that great. The company takes a huge loss from this production and the group puts a majority of the blame straight to the source, you. You finally get to meet the head of the company, but not in the way you wanted. He tears you apart with his insults and breaks you down until you are on the verge of tears. You expect him at any second to fire you but the words never come. He asks you to leave and despite the emotion abuse you just endured, you smile since you still have a job.
The boss calls you in the next day and assigns you to a new project. It is a RPG about a forest boy that has to battle to save his parents. You are excited about the project, but wonder why he has given you this task after what happened just the day before. He even lets you work in his office on his spare computer at his other desk. It is a lot quieter and nicer in here than in the main room. You appreciate his generosity but proceed cautiously; this seems too good to be true. One day while working, the spare computer crashes and the boss is out at the moment. What do you do?
