You are a young lad named Mason Dale, you are 17 years old on your father's ship (Charles Gibbs, John Dale was his normal identity but Charles Gibbs was his pirate identity). Lisa Dale your mother worked on the ship and died of one the many diseases that are present in the Americas. You are with your crew sailing to ship to Boston to celebrate the sinking of yet another ship but this was a British man of war (called Royal James) three times as big as the ship you call home. you dock at the harbor.
