"Well, Ben. I'm Kaya and I don't have time for more observations right now. My paper isn't due for a couple weeks, though, so how about I give you my number and you can call me if you want to be a subject again."

"Okay, I'll be sure to call."

You kiss him on the cheek then turn for the door. By now you're not sure if he believes your story anymore, but it doesn't really matter.

Leaving the classroom, what's next?

• put on your scrubs and head to the hospital

• do a little shopping
