The tavern is not worth your time. It is too poor and meagre to offer much hospitality. You head out of Poonani and along the path into the Smutititty Hills.

Striding past the outlying huts, you send the villagers rushing indoors to hide. Then, at the edge of town, you pass a large boulder, and at once two rough-cut villagers spring out with swords drawn. Bandits.

"Two against one," the first declares. "You're lost!" calls the other. "So hand over your things, come on!"
