You try to argue with Julianne, but she is without remorse. You your mum; she is focused on the task that lies before her, and she won't hear no excuses. You have no choice. You let go of your dress, revealing your chest, get your arms out of the sleeves. Ensuring that your dress does not touch the floor, you step out of the dress and hand it over. Julianne's eyes widen when she realizes you are completely naked underneath. You are so embarrassed, you feel a hot flush running over your face.

Julianne mouth twitches. She works hard to keep a calm face, but fails instantly, and starts snickering. "I can see where your blush begins, sweetie," she says. She stretches out her hand and traces the line over your neck with her forefinger. Her light touch makes you shiver. "I never thought it would be so distinct," she says.

"Mum!" you hiss to remind her what you are here for.

"Sorry, sweetie. Open my purse and get the sewing kit, will you?"

You prepare needle and thread and give it to her. You then watch your mum sewing on the buttons you saved. After every button, your mum uninhibitedly looks at your body. You don't know where to put your hands. Your instinct tells you hide your breasts and crotch; on the other hand, it would be a little late for that now anyway. Maybe making you feel uncomfortable is her way of punishing you for going commando.

"There. Finished and good as new." Julianne hands you dress. You dress up. Since one button is missing, your cleavage is bigger than it usually would be, but you are now decently dressed again. After that, you feel relieved enough that your brain starts working properly again. You remember your panties are in your purse. You take them out and put them on as quick as you can.

"Are you sure you had an accident in the bookstore?" Julianne asks.

You nod, but you can't look her in the eyes.

Julianne chuckles. "And you took your panties off cool down?"

"A-Are you mad at me, mum?"

She breathes in. "You must think I was born an old woman and never was in your age," she replies. "Oh, I have done stupid things in my time. Parents never tell their kids so they won't get any ideas, you know?"

You look up. There is a mischievous smile in your mother's face like you have never seen before.

Do you dare ask? You do, you are too curious not to. "What kind of stupid things?"

"Most of the stories aren't suitable for your ears."

"Most? Not all?"

Julianne thinks for a moment before answering. "Not all, I guess. But now is not the time, is it."

When you think about it, you mum is pretty cool when she is not upset. And she's right - you had never imagined her as a young girl, only as your mother. If you press her at the right moment, you might get a story or two out of her. Right now, though, it must almost be time to board the plane. You return to your seats, but don't need to sit down because your flight is called.
