Angrily, and without much thought, you take a swing at the girl. How dare she friendzone you after all you've done for her.

Unfortunately, she's faster, even in the dark. She ducks under the swing, kicks your legs out from under you, and then picks up the bat when you lose it after you hit the floor.

The un-expected attack collides with her head, nocking her to the floor. She’s not moving. ‘Why the fuck did I do that?’ You think you yourself. You get down on your hands and knees and check If she still has a pulse. Your fingers plant firmly in her neck, but feel no movement. ‘Oh shit she’s dead’ you think to yourself. Your head races at a million thoughts a minute. You scan the room for what to do.

She steps over you, holding the bat. Your head is throbbing from the spot where it collided with the floor. In the dark you can see her raise the bat.
