Risks be damned, you can't abandon your friend to be killed by a pair of thugs. You turn back to the door, steeling your nerves as you prepare to face the attackers. Standing in the door way, you contemplate how to take the bastards. They haven't noticed you yet, but they could any second now, and Jessie might not have that long.
