The Harkfort mountains is a fictional mountain range, for the winter months it is usually covered in snow. It's lower slopes are covered in forests of conifers.
It is notable for the national road that winds through it over Hyde Pass between two distinctive peaks, at the foot of which you find the small settlement of Mistyhill Creek.
