You grab a flashlight and head out among the tents. The sun has set and it is quite dark, although your eyes are mostly adjusted and the flashlight helps you find your way.
You survey the field of tents. They are spread out from each other and it is hard to see more than one or two at a time. All of the tents are dark. Soft sounds, like conversation, come from one or two, but there is nothing that seems that interesting or alarming.
If there is any mischief going on, it’s probably coming from one of the silent tents anyway. It’s not like you can just barge in.
Reaching the end of the field, you start to head back thinking this was a big waste of time. Your route back takes you towards the main building and out of the corner of your eye, you think you see some movement in the field.
You move towards the edge of the forest and see a couple standing by the picnic table. It’s hard to see what they are up to from your viewpoint, but you’re sure they’re not supposed to be here.
