As you run forwards, you take note of the natural beauty of the forest. A Butterfree swarm flies above the treetops; a Ledian snoozes in a shaded branch overlooking a river. You shift your course and run alongside the river, occasionally jumping over to the opposite bank, enjoying the rush of wind and dampness below your paws.
After the river takes you around Violet City, you must swerve away from it when it turns away to the west.
You skip around the small mountain containing what travelers called the Dark Cave, noting it briefly in your mind. You jump from rock to rock as you bypass lazily around it.
It’s not long before you end up running along another river. You follow it, concluding that it becomes the waterfall that is your destination. You run along the riverbank, eager to get your destiny started, until you find the edge and look down at the pond at the bottom.
You are met with silence.
The water below is still; not even a ripple spreads throughout the lake. At a loss, you think for a few moments.
