Upon clicking the link to this sad little story, you find yourself thrown into the war between the two greatest armies ever created: The Americas and the Unitists. They are each trying to defeat the other side because resources are scarce. Trees are sparsely spread and the atmosphere has grown black from pollution.
The Americas consist of all of the armies in North and South America, as well as the Pacific Islands. They have seized control of the Antarctic and are conquesting the North Pole. But why...?
The Unitists are the Europeans, Asians, and Australians. Europe and Asia are fighting for control of the Arctic, and Australia is taking over the Pacific Islands one by one.
The Africans have decided to stay neutral; they refuse to take any part of the action they call the "Folly of Earth".
Both the Americans and the Unitists have requested you for their armies. They call you the One. However, the Americas nabbed you first. They say you would make a great Front Line Assassin... whatever that means.
The date is Monnday Twentiforth, 2072. You have been sent by the general of North America to the Supreme Military Office stationed in Kansas to enroll as an elite.
"Greetings, sir," the man behind the desk says without looking up from his computer. "I heard you are an elite. Which Great Army would you like to join?
You remember what the General told you: "You cannot enroll as a technician, nurse, or any other non-combat, ah, doohickey. Fighting talents like yours are needed in this time of trial and, uh, bad."
But, you could pretend. Surely 'The One' could do something useful that's a non-combat,ah, doohickey.
Or, you could join as a Unitist
With even more stealth and persuasion, you could go to Africa and stop the Folly Of the Earth with the Africans
