"How about we see . . ." you hesitate to suggest a fantasy film, since it's definately a "guy" type film. But the previews have been excellent, and you really want to see it. You bite your lip once, petulantly, then press on, "Against the Horde?"
You brace yourself to be flayed alive by Tina for being a fan.
"Oh God yes!" she almost screams, and her smile is amazingly wide. "I'm so happy you want to see that too!"
She takes your arm in hers, and in a moment, you're out the door and heading toward the local theater. The sun is just begining to set, and you suddenly feel very tired. It's been a very long day. But you also have this warm glow in your center; feeling Tina's arm through yours, her bare skin against yours, is just enough to make all the crazy events today seem worthwhile.
"Mmmm," you intone without even thinking about it.
"What's that, babe?" Tina asks you, and her pretty green eyes meet your blue.
