"Listen, Linda. Something strange just happened to me!"
You tell her about the mysterious cat.
"Wow! That's pretty weird!" Linda says, "You should call the Animal Protection Society. They'll know how to deal with a stray cat loose in your house."
"I guess," you say, "but they might charge me, wouldn't they?"
Linda thinks a minute.
