Don't mind Platypus, he can be a bit of a bear with a sore tooth sometimes. I recommend just starting your own story or contributing to one of the other ones. Honestly, I started my own because I was afraid of doing something wrong. I still do not really contribute to his stories because even though I have been around for a while, I still feel I will get the warning that my writing is not up to the right standards. Don't let it scare you off. There are lots of stories you can contribute to ^.^ --Dirty Me 01:42, 28 June 2016 (UTC)

Sigh. Not sure if you are listening to me, or busy with your back and forth with Platypus. Not sure if it will help, but let me tell you a little about my experience on here. When I started, I was highly intimidated myself, so I approached everything carefully. After I learned a bit, I started trying to help around the site, and tried to help others with what they were making mistakes with. After over two years on here, I can sympathize with Platypus. You seem pretty intelligent, and well spoken, so I have no doubt you will learn from your mistakes and be a great person around this site. However, I have seen person after person who start acting like children, vandalizing pages, calling people names, making childish changes. I have also seen person after person refuse to listen, refuse to follow the few basic rules. I have asked them to ask me questions on my talk page. I have given them step by step instructions on how to do something. I have found myself frustrated when people just ignore me, and in the end, watch them added to the ban list. Even people who are good authors, but refuse to follow the rules. I have helped make the rules page, since before they would get a "follow the rules", but there was no rules. So, I sort of understand that about Platypus. He has had to say the same thing over and over and over, warn, warn, correct, correct, correct, etc. I understand it can be frustrating, especially when you receive some of the messages, but I think basically, he just treats everyone the same until he gets to know you. Mostly because he has been here much longer, and has seen the same things I have, much more often, and has to correct all the stuff that others do wrong. So, I think basically he just has blanket responses and just approaches everyone like they will be the next short lived author on this site. Again, I hope you are not scared away. I would love to see more people writing more stories. Honestly, I still recommend finding an abandoned story, and making that your own. Personally, I avoid Smutty Sex Romp and Rampage, because although I am sure I could contribute, and since I have been around for a while Platypus is more forgiving, I feel that my writing will be judged too much compared to some given standard. Even if my writing is good, does it match that standard? Anyways, sorry, just trying to give you my thoughts on all of this. I hope it helps. --Dirty Me 02:12, 29 June 2016 (UTC)

Hmm, I can guess how this story is developing. Your writing is fine, and has decent descriptions. But, it seems like the main character quickly goes from "Hmm, wonder if this works" to having sex with people no matter if they want to or not. Honestly, when I saw the wife description, my first thought was "The character should ask her if she is having an affair". Because the description made it seem that way. I guess as a pure sex story, it is fine, but one thing I see alot on here is that someone comes up with an idea for a story, then instead of making a real story, with emotion, thought, depth, etc, they just have a random sex rampage. Not trying to take away from what you are writing, just trying to give you a critical review of my thoughts on it xD Sorry, I really want to be a writer, so like it when people really tell me what was good and bad in my writing. --Dirty Me 02:23, 6 July 2016 (UTC)

Some thoughts for you to consider:

 • If you start your own story, it is your story. Even if you allow others to contribute to it, is it your story. If you choose to edit or delete something someone else contributes to your story, you can do so. I have been working, off and on, on Smutty Sex Romp and Rampage for many years. So yes, I consider them my stories. I am very particular about who I allow to post in my stories, and I will delete anything that isn’t up to my standards.
 • If you want to write, you need a thicker skin than you seem to have. Whatever you write, it will be subject to criticism. If a note about your punctuation is enough to set you off, you may want to reconsider putting your writing out in public.
 • If you post something on this site, even if you blank it out later, it’s still available to be read. If you post something on someone’s talk page, they’ll be alerted that you’ve posted something. As the sysop, I can delete something permanently, but since you can’t, you might want to think twice about posting some things.
 • My sysop title isn’t just a title. It does give me extra abilities that ordinary users don’t have, such as the ability to delete pages or ban users. I hope I won’t need to employ those abilities against you. I am asking not to post in my stories. I hope that you can respect my request and either post in one of the many, many other stories here or even start your own story.
