Senator Padme Amidala comes into your office. She's always been kind to you, if somewhat naive. It's played in your favour though, as she is the one responsible for you becoming supreme chancellor, and again for granting you the Emergency Powers to govern with such authority.
She seems flustered, concerned. She feels like something wrong's happened to Anakin. She knows that you and Obi-Wan have always been strong father figures, and wants to know what she can do to help.
You fake a sympathetic smile to comfort her. You can convert her to your cause as well. With her as a pawn, you can easily manipulate young Anakin.
You decide the best way to do this is to:
- Show her the power of the dark side outright, and how Anakin will fall
- Tell her to bring Anakin with her so the three of you can talk together
- Tell her that helping the Republic end the war, once and for all, will bring her husband home safe and happy
