You feel your mind slowly dragging itself out of unconsciousness. After a while, you realize someone is slapping your cheek. Then you start to hear noise. But you can't understand anything and your head feels like everything inside of it turned to mush.

This continues for a while, until whoever was trying to wake you apparently gives up, grabs your leg and drags you off. Unable to move your body or even open your eyes, you are helpless to stop them. You are dragged some distance. By now, your mind is starting to work to the point where you can almost think. When your leg is dropped and the man carrying you moves away. You lie there for a moment, then, out of nowhere, water is splashed all over you.

At first, you can't budge, but then you get the sensation of drowning and your body starts to feel cold. Your mouth falls open and you start breathing hard just as another wave of water hits you. You swallow some of the water and choke, coughing fits wracking through your body. It takes a while to get yourself under control, but you notice you can now slightly move again, if not much more than turning your head slightly and making your arms and legs wiggle. You feel the tingling of the blood flow to your limbs being restored.

You notice someone is standing over you, saying something, but all you hear is the undertone of the voice. A man, by the sound of it.

He apparently got annoyed by the lack of response because you feel another wave of cold water splashing over you, sending you into coughing fits again and making you feel the panicky feeling of drowning. This time, you manage to roll over, spit the water out and eventually, open your eyes. You can't find the strength to roll back over so you lie there with your face against the ground until the man grabs your shoulder and turns you around.

You see a blurry shadow kneeling over you. He says something again. You feel pain in your head from the sound of the voice, but you can't make any sense of it. He grabs your upper arms and lifts you to your feet, but when he releases his grip, you drop back down like a log. Pain from falling vaguely registers and you crawl around to face the man again. He's still talking and you're still not understanding a word.

Try to get into a sitting position rather than lying sprawled out on the floor

Try to focus on what the man is saying
