POW

POW! (Pure Ontario Wrestling) is an independent Canadian Backyard Wrestling company. They are considered a "junior federation" because of the age range in within the wrestlers. This range is from 8-16, but the majority of the competitors are 13/14. The fed is based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada in 2009 by Colin Cage, Shawn Insanity, & Brutal Ben. Pure Ontario Wrestling used to be called "Pure Wrestling Federation". BW (Basement Wrestling) and CBW (Canadian Basement Wrestling) are also former variations of POW.

It is known for its young, pure wrestling style. It is amazing that such young backyarders can do amazing things with their bodies. They focus on a highflying, lucha-libre, pure wrestling type of intensity. There are also many men that will (and prefer) "HardCore" type matches, and they do occur in POW.

Although Pure Ontario Wrestling is not presented in a "backyard" (it is presented in a basement)it is linked ambiguously to backyard wrestling for its pre-existing popularity.
