Lost Cause Wrestling Alliance

History
LCWA began as a brain child of a young Benny Slater, after his debut match at SCWS's "I shoot ya face" event, he decided to create his own federation in dapto Australia. Benny Slater, Adam Chunky, Micheal M and MC Cooper became the 4 original members and LCWA was born.
In its early years, LCWA was seen as the "little brother" of SCWS (south coast wrestling syndicate) with the four members making apperances at SCWS as well as doing smaller localised shows in dapto. It soon became aparent that LCWA's fame would soon eclipse its older brother's, Although LCWA was not represented at Auzfest 4, Benny Slater and Adam Chunky both made their mark at ITWA/WFE's supershow "Trampfest" with Benny Slater facing Chris Cryptic on day 1 and Gene Knite and Ac Nirvana on day 2. The performance of the two at Trampfest generated alot of interest in LCWA, and only months later LCWA hosted its first supershow "wollongong bash" where sydney based wrestlers journeyed to LCWA.
The supershows continued to roll as many well known austrlian yarders made their way to LCWA, Chris Cryptic, Brynx, Nightmare, Underminer, Curt Unearth, Chalis all appeared at LCWA regularly in 2007/2008. This led to one of the most popular shows to be produced on the south coast of Australia, "South Coast Fest" This event marked the coming of age for LCWA, with TVW's Ruthless Ron main eventing against Adam Chunky, Benny Slater taking on AC Nirvana and Micheal M wrestling Corey Bomberry. Brynx, Nero, Nightmare, Danny Fiasco and Donni Sidewinder also made up the card.
LCWA was at a high-water mark in mid 2008, with "Ilawarra wrestle-athon 2" this saw ruthless Ron return to LCWA along with his younger brother Zane, this event was made famous in Australia as the event took place in a flooded backyard, as Benny slaters yard has terrible drainage and it had rained the whole week leading up to the show. Benny Slater imfamously took a powerdriver into a giant puddle at this show.
Following this show, LCWA went on hiatus, with Chris Cryptic winning the rights to LCWA in a storyline cumulating at the "to the depths" event, where Cryptic defeated Benny Slater. LCWA was then invited to join the newly resurected IYHWA (in your house wrestling alliance)this saw the end of the first version of LCWA, with no events occuring for several months, while the south coast yarders regularly wrestling under the IYHWA banner (this was seen as treason by some)
Benny Slater and Adam Chunky also had the honor of competing at the last offical SCWS show titled "gimmickfest" with Benny Slater taking on Nightmare and Danny Fiasco in a triple threat, and Adam Chunky wrestled against Zane in one of the hardest hitting matches seen on the south coast. This event marked the end of SCWS, the genesis of south coast yarding.
After several months, Benny Slater, (not caring for silly storylines) hosted a return show at LCWA titled (practice days), this introduced a young Jonathan Cross and a rejuvinated MC Cooper to the LCWA roster. With the closure of SCWS, Brynx joined the LCWA roster permanantly, adding valuable experience and knowedge to the fed. Brynx made his offical LCWA debut against MC cooper at "wheres the vb" and was defeated via the tower driver.
LCWA has since dominated the Australian backyard wrestling scene, holding events regularly and has recently hosted "coastal chaos 3, A celebration of 5 years of south coast yarding" LCWA plans to host South coast fest 2 in late december, firmly putting their stamp on Australian backyard wrestling.
