The GBYWN World Heavyweight Championship is a backyard wrestling world championship assigned as one of various other championships of backyard wrestling community, GBYWN. It was made and orginated by Cassias Chaos , who later went on to become the first ever GBYWN Champion, many titles after it followed but few gained the popularity as the first ever GBYWN championship. It is the highest ranked title representing the community and is currently being competed for within the Great Lakes Territory.

History

Origination

In June 2007, the concept of a championship was first passed around by Cassias Chaos in GBYWN which was intended to represent the community. In actuallality Chaos had come to Cam (Owner Of GBYWN) with the idea of their being a title to represent thee GBYWN, Cam agreed to this idea and asked Chaos to become the first Champion. Chaos eventually proclaimed himself on YouTube as the GBYWN World Heavyweight Champion and carried it around later as apart of the show in a match against Kennethr Reigns (then known as Sal System). After a year and a half, Chaos dropped the belt in BWB to Low Down in a triple threat match, shortly after departing from the community for personal reasons, the title went inactive for a year with dead interest to remain with the championship idea. The title was then in turn given to "The Cheese Kid" In June 2008, GBYWN decided among a consensus to reinstate the championship assigning it to Bridgeview Wrestling Association with Matt Knicks announcing himself over YouTube in a GBYWN Promo Challenge promo as the champion.

Unification

In 2009, the GBYWN Championship was unified with the GBYWN World Heavyweight Championship since both titles were two of their nature.
