They began filming matches and putting them on one of one of their friends' channel, but he would go on to leave the company and took all the videos with him. HGEW opened a channel in February 2010, but due to roster dropouts, HGEW went into an indefinite hiatus. |

- | | + | |
- | HGEW were set up in 2008 as a way of bringing together Scottish wrestlers to one big federation. Seeing as there is only one federation in Scotland, it was there duty to rally up as many people as possible. HGEW was initially a trampoline federation, and delivered regular weekly shows entitled HGEW: Implosion. With a constant roster influx, the company was running on all time high with [[High Voltage Hardie]] being the face of the company at the time. At HGEW's first show where they were known as "BAW - Backyard Adrenaline Wrestling" High Voltage Hardie would defeat JKH to become the first ever [[HGEW World Heavyweight Championship|HGEW World Champion]] he also went on to retain his championship against NRGY later on in the show. HVH would be HGEW Champion for a consistent 3 months before finally being defeated by the rising star that was Hardcore Hudson. Hudson would hold the championship for a short 2 weeks before leaving the company to set up EDW, a show that held one show before falling to peices, many claimed EDW was Hudson's vanity project. Hudson returned to HGEW in September, defeating HVH and NRGY in a triple threat dream match to become Number 1 Contender for the belt, currently being held by JKH. Hudson went on to defeat JKH for the belt and NRGY won the HGEW: Hardcore Championship. High Voltage Hardie left HGEW claiming the company was too corrupt, it was revealed at this time via HVH's online blog that HGEW was actually now being ran by Hudson and NRGY, in later weeks, it transpired that HVH was fired from the company by NRGY due to his conspiracy. Morale dropped in HGEW as many saw HVH as not only a trainer, but as a friend and boss. In the weeks that transpired, HGEW hired new talents by the name of Adam Ace, Grant Elder, Daniel A and others on a smaller scale. HVH's blog was read religiously by the HGEW Originals, as they began to back what he was saying but kept quiet in risk of being fired. HVH who was now simply known as Warren Hardie announced on his website that he was fighting to get the HGEW name back from NRGY and Hudson. HGEW production began to fall as many wrestlers began to boycott the tapings in support for Warren and his fight. In late 2008, HGEW aired a match between Hudson and NRGY, who were the only two who showed up to the taping. The video garnered a mere 400 views before going stagnant and HGEW never uploaded another video in 2008. Hardie announced on his blog that it would soon be closing and to expect busy times ahead. | + | |

- | ===HGEW vs IDW (Early 2009)===
| + | |
- | | + | |
- | Vignettes began to air on a new Youtube channel. These vignettes promised the return of the original HGEW and to not expect the corporate garbage that Hudson/NRGY were providing. NRGY had responded rather negatively to the vignettes and started promising that HGEW was not dead and that Hardie had no rights whatsoever to the name. HGEW began to start airing some newer matches with a whole host of new talent, much to the dismay of Hardie, or at least that's what people thought. Out of nowhere, a new promotion aired on the channel that aired HGEW vignettes, but the show was name Inverness District Wrestling (IDW). NRGY pushed and pushed for more people to come to their shows, but found that people were all moving over to IDW. IDW aired it's first proper show on it's "Fusion Tour" of Nairn. The tour lasted 1 month but only the first episode received internet coverage. Thefirst episode was well received by critics and was given a favourable comment by Rad Hazard. This angered NRGY to the point where Hudson actually left the company to pursue other interests. HGEW had officially closed in April 2009, having done it's job, IDW soon followed.

- | Having acquired all needed name rights, Hardie re-opened HGEW under a new company known as Feature Shock Entertainment. The owners of Feature Shock Entertainment are still unknown to this day. HGEW ran a test episode which feature Tyler Rage taking on President Payne. The video garnered 600 views on its debut night and was given notable praise by critics. HGEW then opened its own website which would be the official service provider for the Free-Per-Views. HGEW aired their Trepidation 2009 event exclusively on their own official website and kept it off Youtube. The event was met with good reviews, with UBW's Cham Pain complimenting both matches on the card. The show was a great one which saw JKH regain the HGEW Championship which was taken from him during the Hudson / NRGY regime. After this, one new episode of HGEW Implosion aired over the summer, which saw Killah Craig defeat JKH in a non-title match and also saw Rage & Rayne vs Shadows of Payne in a tag contest. HGEW soon saw people like President Payne and Killah Craig leave the company, this was quickly followed by 4 other members of the roster. The HGEW roster was now down to a small undisclosed number of people. HGEW attempted to film another episode of Implosion, but never managed. Instead, HGEW uploaded episodes from the past entitled "HGEW Classics" but this was short lived as HGEW never filmed another episode of HGEW in 2009.

| + | |
- | | + | |
- | HGEW made several failed comebacks to Youtube but found the company could not get enough people to hold a steady show. HGEW made its best attempt of a comeback when it uploaded a whole episode of Implosion which met with extremely positive views with the videos getting 600+ views each. Unfortunately, the roster no showed the next taping and HGEW was flung back in to peril. People soon grew tired of hearing about HGEW, so HGEW decided to leave the internet.

- | Feature Shock Entertainment have confirmed that HGEW will be hosting a Summer FPV. This PPV is seen to be the "rebirth" Free-Per-View for HGEW, as HGEW will now return under a monthly FPV format as a form of a "new HGEW" and trying to bring the federation round in a way that they never had before, with an official format, and transforming the company in to a new show. With HGEW being nothing more than a joke federation, the new HGEW, is now under a complete makeover.

- | Feature Shock Entertainment unveiled the new plans for HGEW in July 2010. The new world championship was unveiled as the "HGEW Undisputed Championship" and there will be a full new Free-Per-View system. Many performers of the old HGEW will be joining the new company, aswell as new wrestlers.
