They will not be changing all the old conntet. Some places will only have a change of the way they look and the type of quests but will never the less be the same level. It's true that places like Barrens will change drastically but others will stay the same. In fact the only races that will have a little change in their leveling from say 14-20 could be the three races who level in barrens (Orc, Tauren, Troll). All the rest can level normally. There are also very few places that level from 81-85. The rest of Kalimdor and Eastern Kingdoms is still 1-60. You would still have to go to Outlands and Northrend to get to 80. While races like trolls and gnomes will have new starting areas, they still mix with Orcs or Dwarves at a very low level. New races like Goblins and Worgen will start with low level zones too so there is no worry about gaining levels.

Can i still play all the past world of warcraft cetonnt now that cataclysm is out?Im still new to the game, and maybe im misunderstanding how the storyline works on a fundamental level. i want to start at the very beggining of the game. Then play through all the original cetonnt, then burning crusade, then wrath of the lich king through cataclysm. But the game just seems to start with cataclysm. Can i still play all the old stuff?
