Steve and Ross Wrestling (SnR) also known as Steve N Ross Wrestling or SnR Wrestling, was a backyard wrestling internet-based promotion formed by Steve Weezy and Rosstaman who were known to pull double duty as founders and performers of the Northwestern federation. SnR allegedly began in 2003 but initially began wide-spreading in 2006 under the imitation of stars in World Wrestling Entertainment. In 2007, they officially became an original backyard wrestling federation, appealing to several youths, pre-teens and adolescent fans via YouTube.
The federation was based in Lancaster, Wisconsin with a P.O Box Address to support the production line of DVD sales and merchandise. After broadcasting their final event in November, Last Stand in which was a LIVE Free Per View aired on Justin.tv, SnR publicly announced on YouTube that the promotion was due to return for a one last show in the Spring of 2009 while promoting a match between Rosstaman and Steve Weezy.
However, SnR has already auctioned off all SnR superstar clothing, merchandise and equipment, appearing to indefinitely be folded after claims that YouTube removed all videos for copyright matters as they've pursued music careers on independent label, SnR Entertainment.

History
Steve and Ross Wrestling formed after the laborious and profuse amount of work, structuring, promoting and planning that was indispensibly neccesary for the promotion to kick-start and wind up as one of the most intercontinentally viewed internet-based backyard wrestling promotions in the world which began initially in 2003 and legitimately in 2006. Originally, another name was considered among Rosstaman and Steve Weezy, the co-owners of the soon profitable promotion. Both gave thought on bannering under Backyard World Wrestling Entertainment (BWWE), however, since both were the faces that were to push the promotion forward, it was labelled Steve N' Ross Wrestling.
In the summer of June 2006, co-SnR Owner Steve Weezy paid visitation to his father in California simultaneously as co-SnR Owner Rosstaman constructed the bounceless SnR trampoline ring in Lancaster, Wisconsin with the assist of his long time friend, Jeff. In the completion of the construction of the wrestling base, Rosstaman uploaded an exclusive video of the base over the video sharing site YouTube, meant for the observation of the abroad Weezy which averaged 1,000 internet views in a week, marking the official ignition of the federation establishment.
In the return of Weezy in late July in Lancaster, SnR organized the promotion and conceived ideas for an imitation federation of World Wrestling Entertainment, molding themselves under their watched professional wrestling stars on television but incorporating their own storylines. The federation was entitled SnR/WWE and they conducted their initial broadcast online over YouTube called SnR RAW and gained numberous fans. This sequence would follow through until April 2007, a period where SnR realized they wanted to launch their own product in differentiation to WWE as they abandoned the imitations, refreshed their image and wrestlers and announced the launching of SnR Wrestling, soon complete with a full gimmicky roster before taking off from there.
The WWE imitation approach proved successfully beneficial as SnR had acquired the fanbase establishment they required and started producing their own independent online broadcast, SnR Meltdown. An official poll was conducted over the SnR website on the consideration of a new federation name, but the fans opted to remain loyal with the name they established themselves under as the SnR federation name procured the most votes in total.
The online promotion carried on throughout its first season and into its second when the ultimate question stumbled upon SnR. It was a deciding factor of preference, it was whether they should rather make the move to promote and host local shows with the exception of live internet shows or adhere to the supportive fan base that has trailed behind the federation from day one and proceed as a genuinely ran and progressing organization endorsed by the online community. SnR preferred their online fans.
The federation delivered to the fans under SnR Wrestling for two years and has earned in a portion of the SnR community to be the greatest backyard federation of all-time. While that is reckoned, for safety concerns SnR performers lack the display of adept wrestling prowess and physicality wrestling on a soft surface, but compensates presentation-wise with a pro-organized backyard wrestling set-up, a bounceless trampoline ring and few characters to entertain.
Historically, SnR has accomplished themselves as the inaugural backyard wrestling promotion in the world to produce "live" weekly-new Meltdown broadcasts online while having full seasons in inclusion; and first backyard federation in the world to host a live successful pay-per-view and package them to the production line. In their self-respects and notability, the promotion has succeeded financially and intercontinentally on an entertainment level and has been able to reduce the risk of high injury and prevent mutual affliction to themselves by vastly lessening their strike-and-lift physicality.
They strive to make the fans content and entertained, hosting on several social video sharing sites, well-promoting the federation. They are highly appreciative of their fans for the length of which they have thrived and succeeded, having recently finished concluding their second season after what was enlightened to be their last following the events of the Last Stand Free Per View. In Spring of 2009, SnR Wrestling will return for another season as indicated by an SnR YouTube production promo and in the return will host Steve Weezy and Rosstaman in a one-on-one match.
