WrestleMania is a professional wrestling pay-per-view event, produced annually in late March or early April by International Wrestling Entertainment, a wrestling promotion based in Montana. The event was first produced in 1985, and has since produced three and now the fourth wrestlemania approaching, WrestleMania XXVIII, taking place in TBA in 2012. IWE regards it as a flagship event due to it being the most successful and longest-running professional wrestling event in the world. Nicknamed "The Grandaddy of Them All," "The Grandest Stage of Them All" and "The Showcase of the Immortals", WrestleMania was conceptualized by IWE owner Brian McAlmond.
