Being an SPW veteran, Priyandh entered the KO World Championship open challenge and easily defeated a weary Sanjith for the championship. This marked Priyandh's 2nd reign as KO World Champion and the first KO World Champion in the new era of SPW. Priyandh would later be forced to vacate the championship due to an injury caused by an assault, presumably at the hands of Sanjith.
