Sean Van started his backyard wrestling career in North Myrtle Beach, SC in the CWL (Championship Wrestling League). He competed there from December 1999 until June of 2001.He made a name for himself there by winning the CWL Hardkore Championship a record breaking 17 times, and winning the CWL World Heavyweight Championship. Sean then left NMB, SC and the CWL and moved to Greenwood to compete in the GCW (Ghetto Championship Wrestling). He wrestled for GCW from June 2001 until August 2002 when the fed folded. Sean remained inactive until the GCW was brought back in November 2003. While in GCW Van would become one of the feds top wrestlers of all time, winning all available major titles. In May of 2004 the GCW folded once more and Van remain inactive again until October 2005 when the GCW was bought out and merged with the TWF. The merger was called CTW (Crucial Territory Wrestling). Sean was in the CTW until November of 2006, he would ramain a dominant star there as well winning titles there as well. The CTW split back into the GCW and TWF in November 2006 after the GCW was purchased. The GCW was still inactive so Sean signed on with TWF (Teenage Wrestling Federation). He had a short run there, from March to June of 2007, where he won the TWF Championship twice. In January of 2008, Sean signed with GCW once more and wrestled there until it shut it's doors for good in September 2008. In November 2008, Sean signed on with BCW-TNG of Donalds, he still competes there today. Sean has quickly become a staple of the fed as one of their biggest names. He would also compete on the indy scene in October 2009 when he began wrestling for SCWX (Southern Championship Wrestling Xtreme). He retired from backyard and independent wrestling on December 27, 2009. He does commentary and serves as "Co-Chairman" for BCW-TNG.
