Brian David Woods (born May 29, 1979) is an American professional wrestler currently signed to Total Nonstop Action Wrestling, where he is the current TNA X Division Champion under his real name. Before joining TNA he spent several years wrestling for International Wrestling Entertainment, where he wrestled under his name, as Spanky, and finally as "The" Brian Woods.
Woods has wrestled for numerous promotions in his career. While situated in these promotions, he has won various championships, both in tag team and singles competition. He was the last ever MCW Southern Light Heavyweight Champion, a title he held three times, and also won the MCW Southern Tag Team Championship with American Dragon. In addition, Woods was the first NWA International Junior Heavyweight Champion
During his time in IWE, Woods and his tag team partner Paul Brudick became the longest reigning IWE Tag Team Champions since the title's inception. Together they also held the World Tag Team Championship for a brief period.
