The 2KW Tag Team Championship is a backyard wrestling tag team championship contested for in 2KW under their tag team division. Prominently in 2009, the championships were unified with the NEW Tag Team Championships becoming the 2KW United Tag Team Championship. Moreover, the championships are still referred to as the 2KW Tag Team Titles.

The federation introduced the championships in 2000, however, it remains uncertain as to the overall count of champions that have been holders.

History

The 2KW Tag Team Championship was first debuted in 2000 with the inaugural champions being Samsational and J.S.A. The championship had since been held and contested in the tag division switching hands multiple times and became more coveted within the federation in 2007 which was labelled the year of phenomenal tag team wrestling in 2KW. In 2009, the championship was unified with New Epic Wrestling's Tag Team Championship becoming the 2KW United Tag Team Championship.

Reigns

The inaugural 2KW Tag Team Champions were Samsational and J.S.A. There have been an uncalculated amount of champions ever since with 11 being recollected. The current 2KW Tag Teams Champions are The A-List after defeating Grifter and Check on November 14, 2009 at 2KW Just Another Night 2009 to be in their second reign as champions.
