The Renegades was a backyard wrestling stable that originally wrestled in Kick Ass Wrestling just shortly before Northeast Championship Wrestling, which initially consisted of PJ Matthews, Ace Reed, Nick Adams, Danny Madness, and Aaron Foley. The group was consolidated after The Four Aces fused with PJ Matthews and Aaron Foley, going on to NECW with the merger on KAW, BCW and EWA.

Their gimmick focused on taking a less serious tone backstage and sparking humor amongst themselves displaying outrageous, humorous, and unpredictable behavior. Within competition, they were a strung together family coming together for the common cause of victory excluding villainous tactics in that pursuit.
