Situation

Hockstow Wood / Hockstow Forest is a significant area of woodland that was still in existance at the time of the Saxton Map of 1577. It is located to the northwest of Stretton, beyond The Long Mynd and The Stiperstone Hills.

Lying next to it is the settlement of Stitt
