Worcestershire is a county in England, lying to the south east of Shropshire.

The general area of Worcestershire also includes a number of outlying manors officially contained within Warwickshire.

The country town is Worcester.

It is landlocked, and significantly less hilly than Shropshire. The River Severn flows in a southerly direction through the centre of the county.
