King Henry was nine when he was crowned in 1216. The article says that the barons ruled by Magna Carta until Henry reached the age of maturity, at which point he was keen to restore royal authority. My question is, what is the age of maturity in early 13th century England? --Rencheple 08:22, 12 March 2006 (PST)

"Magna Carta was reissued in 1217 as a sign of goodwill to the barons and the country was ruled by regents until 1227."
