Communicating

Discussion Board

While this wiki does have talk pages, it is probably faster and more convenient for players to discuss aspects of the game and the wiki on the following Yahoo! Group, which has been created for this game:

Arcanum Magica Yahoo! Group

Participating

New Players

New players are welcome at any time. We have space for more companions, and gifted characters can be taken if the current magi are able to take an apprentice (and want to do so). If you want to enter the saga as a post-gauntlet magus, you will have to discuss it with the storyguide(s).

Guidelines for Posting

As there are many different styles of play-by-email posting, there is a document containing the guidelines for posting in this saga, so that we are all using the same style.

The guidelines for posting can be found here.

Discussion regarding the map showing player locations.

I've just added a sub-page with a large map on it. You can access it by
clicking on the Player Locations link above the mini-map.

Japanese Locations

> the map shows Japan ans is in Kanji. I don't read Kanji. --Rencheple 04:17, 15 February 2006 (PST)

All Japanese locations are in Kanji.
James lives in かまがや(鎌ヶ谷) = Kamagaya (Kah-Mah-Gai-yah), a city in ちばけん(千葉県) = Chiba-ken.

Adding?

How do we add ourselves to this map? --Rencheple 10:35, 28 February 2006 (PST)

I'm just off to an appointment... so: There is a link on the main editthis page to some GeoCoder websites. They can give you the latitude and longitude. Watch your commas, and be prepared for the coords being back to front... if you have trouble making it work, then comment out the code with <!--- COMMENT ---> so I can check it out, rather than delete it.

A slightly more basic answer - you need to edit this section again, and look up it until you see a googlemap section. In there is a section with one line for each point shown on the map, with their latitude and longitude, obtained as aabove, and the place to where the label is to link. --OldNick 00:27, 1 March 2006 (PST)

Got it. Thanks for your help, Nick! --Rencheple 04:53, 1 March 2006 (PST)
