Harton sits on low land, sheltered below Wenlock Edge to the south-east, bside Eaton Brook. 2 km to the north is Ticklerton, the land climbing gently beside a small brook. 1.5 km north-east along Eaton Brook lies Eaton-under-Haywood. 2 km to the northwest is Hattonon a slight rise.
