Situation
1 km southwest of Broadstone and 1.5 km northeast of Millichope Park, like them lying on the north-west edge of the Corve Dale.
History
Recorded in Domesday as being held by Helgot. Helgot is a mystery. Most likely related to Elligot, ancestor of the Elliot family, but there is no hard evidence of his origin or his descendants. He was an under-tenant to Earl Roger in Shropshire.
