At a casual glance, and assuming you are right about the totals, it looks like he has merely written his X2 in the wrong box when formatting his virtues as a table.  I assume he has Improved x1 and Great x2.  --James<b>\\</b>Talk 07:57, 25 March 2006 (PST)

:Ok, I see what I did wrong. "Improved Characterstics" grants three more points to spend on characteristic purchases, and "Great Characteristic (Stamina)" [taken twice] allows him to go to +5. In the end, it appears that I forgot about the three additional points.  To adjust for this, I'll raise his Perception from a 2 to a 3.  This throws off my virtue count, though, so I'll drop "Book Learner", doesn't really fit my character concept for Ambrosius any more. --Rencheple 10:39, 25 March 2006 (PST)

The living and dead languages can have specialities such as "Hermetic usage". The specific language chosen is part of the name.

eg Not "Living Language (English)" but "English (Hermetic Usage")

For some reason I looked through Ambrosius Virtues and Stats. "Great Characteristic" and "Improved Characteristics" has ben exchanged. "Great Characteristic" is the one raising a characteristic (Stamina) above 3.

When I summed up the Characteristic points I got 7, not 10 as I would have expected with "Improved Characteristics". --Samuel 13:23, 12 March 2006 (PST)
