Nenya is a young alewife and chef. Her mother died in childbirth, and her father was a travelling peddler. Nenya quickly learned the ways of people, and how to fulfill a woman's role in a household. Nenya has a true gift in the kitchen, and with people. With a bit of reserved nature bordering on shyness, Nenya comes out of her shell when she has a story to tell and a captive audience. She loves children; as she is still unmarried at age seventeen, she dotes on what peasant children as comes to visit her. She always has a pastry and a story for any child who comes calling with a smile to share.
