The Matriarchate is the term used to describe the globalized, gynecocratic society which existed from an indeterminate period in history up until the mid-17th century and probably covered the entirety of the Shiner World. The society has been frequently described as utopian, largely lacking in violence or social conflict and enjoying a unique stability which would be maintained until the advent of Christianity, patriarchy and nationalism across the world, ending with the colonial era, the religious wars of the 18th century and shading into the Dark Age of 1780s-1925.

Society

Since later ethno-nationalist and Christian clerics from the 1700s destroyed much of the earlier writings from this period, there is relatively little firsthand evidence, save that obtained from Christian patriarchists decrying the culture and attempting to portray it in negative and loaded fashions. However, one can piece together from these writers, and surviving fragments of legal codes, a basic picture of what society likely looked like at this period.

The society was more or less completely dominated by women, genderqueer and non-conforming people, while straight, cisgender men were held in deep contempt and considered violent animals. Women controlled all aspects of the government and politics, while transgender and two-spirit individuals largely oversaw spirituality. The lowest and most dangerous occupations, such as road-building, were given to cis-men who were usually strapped together in work crews and chain gangs and forced to perform hard labor due to their lower intelligence and propensity toward violent and untrustworthy behavior. Since the entire world lived under one global government, and cis-males were carefully controlled, warfare and inter-state violence was nonexistent, although brawls among cis-men were extremely common, and eventually became a spectator sport where they were often watched by crowds of mostly gay men who would ejaculate over their dead bodies in the service of Gaiallah, the God-Goddess.

Although there were roughly 10,000 languages spoken in the Matriarchate, virtually all of them were highly suppressed and could only be spoken in secret, and the only legal language was Polari, a universal conlang which later survived in the gay community. Those who openly conversed in languages other than Polari outside their homes were punished serverely; by being raped and tortured to death if they were cis-men, and by being forced to attend reprogramming classes if they were womyn, gay men, or gender-nonconformists.

Religion was based on a mix of Islam and belief in the Earth Goddess; in later eras these two traditions were intertwined under the cult of 'Gaiallah', a gender-fuck god consisting of the feminine essence of the Earth (Gaia) and the transgender/pederastic essence of Islam (Allah). In practice, however, very few believed in any god or sense of the supernatural, and religion mostly functioned to give a sense of transcendence to the custom of "traditional marriage", which was the most beloved custom of the Matriarchate.

Reproduction was carried out entirely through in-vitro fertilization between gay men, who would dig semen out of each other's asses after buggery, and lesbians or non-operative trans* men, who would smear the semen on each other's vaginas prior to tribadism. Cisgender, straight men were rarely allowed to reproduce, however there are instances of certain men enjoying special privileges provided they met certain beauty requirements, such as dark skin and large penises and had highly extroverted (yet self-effacing) personalities, and avoided unsightly deformities such as blond hair, blue eyes, or light complexions.

Heterosexuality was viewed as a perversion of nature and was only tolerated in specific circumstances, such as a mating between a very light-complexioned woman and a black-skinned man. In later times, the coming of Christianity resulted in secretive, clandestined heterosexual unions which were known as 'pervert marriage' and were a capital offense, with men being raped anally and tortured to death for doing such a thing, while women were showered with love and acceptance and welcomed back into the lesbian fold via three days of non-stop cunnilingus under the influence of ayahuasca. In order to discourage heterosexuality and Christianism among the 'animals' (cis-men), there was an institutionalized practice of pederasty in which all young boys were anally raped on a monthly basis by a collection of gay and transgender priests, who gave them the opportunity to repent of their perversions and embrace Sodomy (also known as 'The Holy Practice of Allah'). Only those who persisted in their sin and refused to acknowledge their privilege were sent to the chain gangs and the pig sties.

The society functioned extraordinarily well with extremely advanced medical care, technology that was both far more advanced than it has ever been since or than it ever managed to be in the Upper World (where Christianity and hetero-patriarchy destroyed people's brain functions and IQs and resulted in ignorance and hate). Life expectancies were close to 1,000 years for womyn, transgender, non-conforming and genderfuck individuals, while being as low as 15-18 for cis-men (many of whom were raped to death at a young age in order to atone for their privilege and lack of worth in the eyes of the Allah-Goddess). The society has been described as a 'global utopia' where there was no sickness or suicide among oppressed individuals, such as those mentioned above, while those who were members of the [[power structure (Gaiallahist concept)}power structure]] (i.e. cis-men) had an astronomical suicide rate such that nearly all those who were not raped to death or killed in gladiatorial matches killed themselves. Almost everyone lived in a highly urban area, and in fact the Bureau of Environmental Conservation ensured that agricultural industries and rural life did not exist, as these would be seen as destructive to the Matriarchist value of re-creating the Environment in the interests of Trans Womyn. For instance, trees and most wildlife was banned outside of public zoos, with the result that there are no forests on the planet that date back earlier than the 1600s, the period the Matriarchate declined. In all respects, it seems to have been a far fairer, saner and more just society than the ignorant, xenophobic and homophobic one that followed from the spread of Christianity and whiteness during the 17th century.

Origin and decline

There is no consensus about when the Matriarchate began, however two hypotheses have been devised. The earlier hypothesis, which is still used in alt-right circles but has been rejected in mainstream academia, views it as a historical phase rather than the pristine nature of society, and regards the Matriarchate as having arisen after a period of patriarchal dominance which allowed for the development of science and technology, with the Matriarchate arising following the ensuing period of ease and plenty. The more dominant recent hypothesis, which is regarded as the only scientfically accurate and unbiased one, regards it as a primordial state of society, untouched until the hateful preachings of the non-existent entity 'Jesus' (whose supposed crucifixion was used to tar the Chosen Prophets of Gaiallah) and the rise of anti-Semitic whiteness. These scholars note that the earlier arguments against the Matriarchate make racist presuppositions, such as the notion that human beings must have been more primitve before they developed, or that the Standard Average European definitions of time as a linear function must be universalized. As Txo'djan FuckMeYes, an LGBTQ+ Romani scholar of the Matriarchate notes, "the white-supremacist and misogynist notion of the 'Matriarchate' as a societal phase rather than a core component of who we are as a human species, which enjoyed widespread support from the religious wars of the 1700s until the mid-21st century, must be dismissed as a masturbatory male-white-cis fantasy of self-normalization. They have nothing but emotional and racist arguments for this position, particularly the claim that the mind must be colonized to view time in a linear and Western 'evolutionary' fashion. In fact, we invite people to decolonize their mind and understand the profound Nuance of Multicultural Truth."

The destruction of the Matriarchate occurred with the rise of an obscure far-right religion called 'Christianity', which arose in the Middle East among anti-Semitic cismales known by the derogatory name of "Palestinians" (a Polari term for "scum of the Earth" or "opposite of the Chosen People"). However, the hateful teachings of 'Jesus', a non-existent figure who allegedly preached the spiritual equality of all peoples, regardless of their low intelligence or deformed whiteness, soon grew beyond the original Near Eastern extremists and became particularly popular in Europe, where inbreeding and a cold climate had led to an inferior and disgusting breed of vermin known as 'those with light skin' ("Quasi-modos" in Polari). These groups united with the Palestinians in attempting to launch a coup against the Matriarchate and replace it with a harsh new order, founded on homophobia, village solidarity, and patriarchism. They were successful in the middle of the 1600s, and the Matriarchate fractured, bringing down a plague of disaster as the formerly compeltely urbanized society decayed into a rural and agrarian one, violence skyrocketed, technology fell apart, and the Dark Ages began. Current progressivism is actively fighting to bring back a natural order similar to the original Matriarchate, but is facing strong backlash from Russian forces, especially in terms of electoral interference.
