Penthesili 2008, officially known as the Games of the Seventh Simlympiad, was a major international multi-sport event which was being celebrated in Penthesili, Dimland from August 4 to September 7, 2008 and followed by the Penthesili 2008 Paralympics from September 7 to September 9 despite being dubbed the "August Simlympiad". More than a thousand athletes representing are expected to compete in 50 sports.
